Extransit was founded in 1998 as a result of long previous experience in building user interaction solutions for industrial and telecommunications, as well as domestic systems.

For a mobile application to be regarded as user-friendly, it has to be adapted to the limited data rate and sometimes un-stable connections as well as to the limited displays and input methods of mobile devices. It also has to take into account the situations where it is used, where speed and simplicity are of essential values to the user.

Our mission is to develop and market products that give service providers a cost- efficient way to build user-friendly mobile Internet applications and to make their current services mobile in a way that utilizes low bandwidth in wide area networks, reaching large groups of end users.
