Advanced technical features


	*Smart on-line protocol* The user interface structure is transferred to the client incrementally, "on-demand", in a very compact format, making page loading very quick, even on slow connections. Data is transferred dynamically when changed, so there is no need for "timer poll" or any "refresh" button


	*Smart cache* Images that are processed on the server are stored in the phone flash memory and only reloaded when actually changed. They can be transferred "on-demand" or "in advance", making the speed experience even better.


	*Open server side plug-in library* Images can be manipulated into small "film strips" (that are e.g. focus triggered) through an open server side plug-in library, utilizing JAI (Java Advanced Imaging) or any image filtering library.


	*Advanced monitoring and logging* Anything that affects a mobile application can be remotely monitored and logged, making it easy to analyze and improve the mobile application.


	*Session based with auto-reconnect* The server keeps client sessions, so there is no need for state logic in external applications. The sessions are kept even if connections drop (which happens now and then on mobile networks). The client will reconnect automatically and continue when a session is dropped.

	Optimized for mobile users


	*Thin client technology* The Catch Client uses our unique thin client technology, and offer a small memory footprint in combination with low bandwidth demand, as well as data-push, and auto-recovery on dropped connections.


	*Application Navigation* The application navigation features are specifically designed for mobile use, making it easy to move around in the application as well as e.g. scroll or zoom text, by using one single hand on the joystick or thumb wheel.

	*Works on MIDP 2.0 phones* Designed for MIDP 2.0, Catch Client supports millions of different devices today. A small size client (app 300 kB) makes it suitable for most Java-enabled phones.


	*Use of local phone features* Gives the designers an easy way to access internal phone features, such as the camera, without writing any code. Also gives optional access to external Bluetooh devices, such as a GPS.


	*Wake-up on demand* The mobile client can be "minimized" to put the mobile on stand-by or freeing it for other use. The client is "popped" back, combined with a user alert, such as a vibration, when important events are detected by the server.


	A tool for custom mobile applications


	*Service manager with remote editing* Account based remote editing offers support for hosting configurations, where subscribers can remotely edit the mobile application of their own accounts.

	*Client application provisioning* Configure specific MIDlets for different services and devices as desired, without any coding. They are built and provided to the target phones on-demand.

	*Advanced resource management* Choose to provide images and icons from the server on-demand, or pack them with a client configuration. In both cases, changes are automatically pushed to the clients.
