Extransit Mobile Interaction Suite makes it very simple to get up and running.

Install the Strike Server

Install the Strike Server on a computer that is accessible from the Internet.

Install the Pitch Studio

 Install the Pitch Studio remote editor on one or many local computers. When the editor is connected to the server, you can start building the remote application by adding UI components and application logic in the visual editor.

Download the Catch Client

 The Catch Client is downloaded into any number of phones, and when it is started, it connects to the Strike Server and runs the remote application(s). Once the Catch Client is installed, you can do any changes to the remote applications without bothering the users with re-installing. The changes can even be done on-line while the clients are running. The on-line architecture even provides real-time preview of your applications over the mobile network on a mobile phone while editing an application.
