Strike Server
The Strike Server is the engine of the Extransit Mobile Interaction Suite. It serves all Catch Clients with GUI and application data. The application data comes from any external application using HTTP, SOAP, XML, Mail or web scraping. The integration is made simple using the Pitch Studio application wizard. The server is either hosted as Extransits “Express service”, or downloaded and installed locally.
Catch Client
The Catch Client is a mobile thin client. It connects to the Strike Server via a mobile network, based upon technologies such as GPRS or UMTS. The client is responsible for rendering the GUI. The Catch Client is available for a wide range of mobile devices with support for Java MIDP 2.0.
Pitch Studio
The Pitch Studio is an integrated visual development tool for designers of mobile remote applications. The designer can easily integrate external applications from any web service worldwide. The Pitch Studio also incorporates a wizard-style GUI building tool. Features such as reference points and flow control helps the designer in the process of quick deployment of a mobile application for different types of mobile terminals.
